Questions Families Often Ask

How do I know which care level is appropriate?
When you contact us, our care coordinator will speak with you about the individual's daily routines, health background, and what kind of support they currently receive. From there we can describe which of our options tends to be a natural fit. There is no need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
Can families visit at any time?
Families are warmly welcomed. We ask that visits during early morning and late evening are arranged in advance, simply to respect residents' rest. At other times, the community is open and we are happy to show you around when you come.
What is included in the monthly fee?
The monthly fee covers accommodation, meals, standard care services appropriate to the resident's level, participation in activities, and light housekeeping. Additional services such as specialist consultations or certain medical treatments are arranged separately and discussed transparently beforehand.
How does the trial stay work in practice?
The trial is a full two-week residency — the individual stays in a furnished room, joins the regular daily schedule, and receives standard care services. A coordinator meets with them partway through and again at the end of the stay to hear how they found the experience. At that point the family can decide comfortably whether to continue.
Is the community only for Thai nationals?
Thana Rest welcomes residents from any background. Our team communicates in both Thai and English and we are experienced in supporting families based across different countries and time zones.
What happens if a resident's care needs change over time?
Care plans are reviewed regularly and updated in conversation with the resident and their family. If additional support becomes necessary, we discuss the options openly so that any transition happens at a pace that feels right to everyone involved.
