These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Thana Rest website and outline the basis on which our residential care services are offered. Please read them at your convenience. Submitting an enquiry or entering a care arrangement with us indicates your acceptance of these terms.

1. Definitions
- "Thana Rest" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" refers to Thana Rest, operating at 114 Lat Phrao Road, Chatuchak, Bangkok 10900, Thailand.
- "Service" refers to any residential care offering provided by Thana Rest, including Independent Living, Nursing & Clinical Care, and Trial Stay Experience.
- "User" / "You" refers to any person who accesses our website or communicates with us regarding our services.
- "Resident" refers to an individual who has entered into a care arrangement with Thana Rest.
- "Family Representative" refers to a family member or authorised person acting on behalf of a prospective or current resident.
- "Agreement" refers to the care agreement entered into between Thana Rest and a resident or their representative.
- "Content" refers to all text, images, and materials published on our website.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting our website or submitting an enquiry, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age, or are acting on behalf of an eligible adult
- You have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement
- You accept these Terms & Conditions in full
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our website or engaging our services.
3. Service Description
Thana Rest provides residential care services for older adults in Bangkok, Thailand. Our three current service offerings are:
- Independent Living Community — Managed community living for self-sufficient older adults with access to shared amenities and support services (฿20,000/month)
- Nursing & Clinical Care — Round-the-clock nursing support for individuals with complex medical needs (฿48,000/month)
- Trial Stay Experience — A two-week residential stay for individuals and families exploring long-term care options (฿15,000 per two-week period)
Service availability is subject to room occupancy and care capacity at the time of enquiry. We do not make availability commitments until a formal care agreement has been signed.
4. Enquiries & Admissions
Submitting an enquiry through our website does not constitute a reservation or commitment on either side. Following an enquiry, our care team will contact you to discuss your circumstances and determine whether our services are a suitable fit.
Admission to any care programme is subject to a care needs assessment and the signing of a formal care agreement. We reserve the right to decline admissions where our care environment is not appropriate for an individual's requirements.
5. Resident & User Responsibilities
Website use
- Use the website only for lawful purposes
- Provide accurate information in any form submissions
- Not attempt to disrupt or interfere with website functionality
Residential care
- Treat staff and fellow residents with courtesy and respect
- Disclose relevant medical and personal information to support appropriate care
- Follow community guidelines and care protocols as communicated upon arrival
- Ensure timely payment of fees as outlined in the individual care agreement
- Notify us of any changes to care needs or personal circumstances
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Thana Rest website — including text, images, layout, and branding — is the property of Thana Rest and is protected under applicable Thai intellectual property law.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view our website content for personal, informational purposes only. Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of any content without our prior written consent is not permitted.
7. Payment Terms
All fees are quoted in Thai Baht (฿). Current monthly rates are:
- Independent Living Community: ฿20,000 per month
- Nursing & Clinical Care: ฿48,000 per month
- Trial Stay Experience: ฿15,000 per two-week period
Detailed payment schedules, accepted payment methods, and any applicable deposits will be outlined in the individual care agreement. Fees are subject to periodic review; residents will be given reasonable advance notice of any changes.
Refunds and early departure
Refund eligibility in the event of early departure or termination of a care arrangement will be determined in accordance with the individual care agreement signed at the time of admission.
8. Service-Specific Terms
Trial Stay Experience
The Trial Stay is a two-week residential period intended to give individuals and their families a genuine sense of community life. There is no obligation to continue beyond the trial period. The trial fee covers accommodation, standard care services, meals, and activity participation.
Nursing & Clinical Care
This service requires a care needs assessment prior to admission. Care plans are developed collaboratively with the resident and their family and are reviewed regularly. We coordinate with external healthcare professionals but do not replace specialist medical services.
Independent Living Community
Residents are expected to be largely self-sufficient at the time of admission. Should care needs change significantly, the appropriate care level will be discussed with the resident and their family, which may involve transitioning to a different service tier.
9. Disclaimers
The information on our website is provided for general informational purposes. While we make every effort to keep content accurate, we make no representations regarding its completeness or suitability for any particular purpose.
Thana Rest is a residential care provider, not a medical facility. We do not offer diagnosis, treatment, or specialist clinical services. Residents with specific medical needs should continue to work with appropriate healthcare professionals.
We do not make assurances regarding specific care outcomes or timeframes, as individual circumstances vary.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Thai law, Thana Rest shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website
- Loss resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)
- Decisions made by residents or family members based on information provided
Our liability in connection with any care arrangement shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service period during which an issue arose.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thana Rest, its staff, and representatives from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of our website, provision of inaccurate information, or breach of these terms.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate a care arrangement by providing written notice as specified in the individual care agreement. Thana Rest may also terminate an arrangement where the safety or wellbeing of other residents or staff is at risk.
Upon termination, access to community facilities and accommodation will cease on the agreed departure date. Any outstanding fees will remain due as per the care agreement.
13. Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or a care arrangement will first be addressed through direct communication between the parties.
If a resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes shall be referred to mediation or, where necessary, to the competent courts in Bangkok, Thailand.
14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement — These terms, together with any signed care agreement, constitute the full agreement between the parties.
- Severability — If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver — Failure to enforce any provision on one occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment — You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent.
- Notices — Formal notices should be sent to the address or email listed in Section 16.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, the revised version will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We will endeavour to notify current residents of material changes via written communication.
Continued use of our website or services following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
